Family Meetings & The Holidays

With more family members living out of state from one another than ever before, many families find that the holidays are the only time that all of their siblings and parents can be together.

It isn't always the most desired time to tackle some of the tough caregiving conversations, but often, it is the best time due to being able to meet with all of the family members.

Family get-togethers don't always go according to plan, so many people involve a neutral third-party to keep conversation on track, introduce sensitive subjects, and initiate action plans for family members once they return to their homes.

If a family meeting would organize your caregiving efforts and make good use of the time when all members are gathered together, call us today to arrange a meeting with a geriatric care manager. 704-492-0554
